Description

A delicious and easy strawberry cobbler recipe made with fresh strawberries and a sweet, buttery topping.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberries, 1/2 cup of sugar, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
  4. Stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Top the batter with the strawberry mixture.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
