Description

A flavorful and spicy dumpling soup that warms you up with every spoonful.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup bok choy
  • 2 teaspoons chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper and fold to seal.
  3. In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  4. Add the dumplings to the boiling broth and cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the mushrooms, bok choy, chili paste, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your spicy dumpling soup!

Notes

  • For a milder soup, adjust the amount of chili paste to your taste.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas.
  • Serve with additional green onions on top for garnish.
