- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups cabbage, chopped
- 4 large carrots, sliced
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 6 cups beef broth
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a large slow cooker, add the beef stew meat, onion, and garlic.
- Layer the cabbage, carrots, and potatoes on top of the beef.
- Pour in the beef broth and add the thyme, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Stir before serving and enjoy!

- For extra flavor, sear the beef before adding it to the slow cooker.
- This stew can be made a day in advance and reheated.
