This Sloppy Joe Boule Bowl is a fun and delicious twist on the classic sloppy joe, served inside a bread bowl!
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large sourdough boules
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the sourdough boules and hollow out the insides.
- Fill each bread bowl with the sloppy joe mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the filled boules on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
