- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
- Pour the beef broth over the entire dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
