- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Sprinkle the grated cheddar and black pepper evenly over the pastry.
- Fold the pastry in half and roll it out again.
- Cut the pastry into strips and place them on a baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed.
