Description

A delicious and easy dessert that combines the sweetness of pineapple with a buttery topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple, sugar, flour, and baking powder.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, then fold in the coconut and nuts if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
