Description

Delicious Philly cheesesteak sliders made with tender steak, melted cheese, and served on sweet Hawaiian rolls.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened.
  2. Add the beef steak to the skillet, cooking until browned. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the beef mixture over the bottom halves of the rolls, then top with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the cheese.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and slice into individual sliders before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding mushrooms or using a different cheese.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and baked shortly before serving.
