Description

Deliciously sweet and flaky, these Peach Hand Pies are perfect for a summer dessert or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and cut into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the peach mixture on one half of each circle.
  5. Fold the other half over and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
