Description

Neer Dosa is a traditional dish from Mangalore, known for its soft and delicate texture.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rice (soaked)
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for cooking)


Instructions

  1. Soak rice in water for at least 3-4 hours.
  2. Blend the soaked rice with water until smooth.
  3. Add salt to the batter and mix well.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with oil.
  5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and swirl to spread it evenly.
  6. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges lift.
  7. Fold and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a thinner batter, add more water.
  • Neer dosa can be served with coconut chutney or sambar.
