- 1 prepared tart crust
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk tea leaves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, sugar, and milk tea leaves. Heat until just boiling, then remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to remove the tea leaves and let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract. Slowly add the warm milk tea mixture, stirring constantly.
- Pour the egg mixture into the tart shell.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the custard is set and lightly browned.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger milk tea flavor, increase the amount of milk tea leaves.
