- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon bits
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and dry the potatoes, then poke holes in them with a fork.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes until tender.
- While potatoes are baking, season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak, cooking to your desired doneness.
- Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Cut the potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Top each potato with steak bites, cheese, sour cream, green onions, and bacon bits.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add garlic powder to the steak seasoning.
