This Jalapeño Popper Smash Burger features juicy beef patties topped with creamy jalapeño popper spread, cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 jalapeños, diced
- 4 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to make the jalapeño popper spread.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and form the ground beef into patties.
- Cook patties in the skillet, smashing them down for maximum caramelization.
- Add cheese slices on top of patties a minute before they’re done cooking.
- Toast the hamburger buns until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading the jalapeño popper mixture on the bottom bun, adding a patty, crumbled bacon, and the top bun.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite fries or a side salad.
- Try adding extra jalapeños for more heat!
