Deliciously flaky tarts topped with sweet caramelized onions and creamy goat cheese.

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add onions, and cook until soft and caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- Add balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt, and pepper to the onions and stir.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Place pastry squares on a baking sheet and top with caramelized onions and crumbled goat cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- These tarts can be made ahead of time and reheated.
