Description

A delicious and filling egg bake made with sausage, spinach, and mushrooms, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage, casing removed
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add spinach and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until wilted.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Add the sausage mixture to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
