Description

A comforting and flavorful Japanese dumpling soup, perfect for any time of year.


Ingredients

  • 12 pieces gyoza (Japanese dumplings)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken broth and water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the gyoza, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Cook until the gyoza float to the surface.
  3. Add bok choy and mushrooms, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in sesame oil and green onions before serving.
