- 12 pieces gyoza (Japanese dumplings)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup bok choy, chopped
- 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine chicken broth and water and bring to a boil.
- Add the gyoza, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Cook until the gyoza float to the surface.
- Add bok choy and mushrooms, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in sesame oil and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include chili oil or serve with soy sauce on the side.
- This soup can be customized with different vegetables or proteins based on your preference.
