Description

A delicious and healthy ground turkey zucchini casserole recipe that the whole family will love.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, and sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the zucchini, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until zucchini is tender.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
