Ingredients

- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- In a small pan, sauté the minced garlic in butter until fragrant.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the sautéed garlic, butter, and milk to the potatoes. Mash until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
