Description

A delightful appetizer featuring creamy egg salad served on soft bread, perfect for tea parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 2 teaspoons butter, softened


Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the hard-boiled eggs.
  2. In a bowl, combine eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and chives.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. On the unbuttered side, spread a generous amount of the egg salad mixture.
