- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the garlic butter and milk to the potatoes.
- Mash until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, add more butter or milk.
- Can use garlic powder if fresh garlic is unavailable.
