Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a large baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and Easter-themed candies.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Let cool before slicing into squares and decorating as desired.
