A delicious and easy-to-make crockpot lasagna that layers pasta, cheese, and rich meat sauce for a comforting meal.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the meat mixture, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and a third of the mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, ending with noodles and the remaining marinara sauce on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the noodles are tender.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with additional vegetables.
- Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing to help it hold its shape.
