Description

A creamy and delicious pasta dish inspired by Pappadeaux’s Mardi Gras flavors.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  3. Add garlic and shrimp to the skillet, cooking until shrimp are pink.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning, bringing to a simmer.
  5. Add parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
  6. Toss in the cooked fettuccine and mix well to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with green onions before serving.
