Description

This Copycat Mushroom Chicken Stir-Fry Recipe is a flavorful dish reminiscent of your favorite takeout.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Add chicken to the mixture and marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned, then remove from the skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, add mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry until softened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, add sesame oil, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
