Description

A refreshing and easy-to-make classic cucumber sandwich, perfect for tea parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the cucumber slices on half of the bread slices.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down.
  5. Trim the crusts off the sandwiches and cut them into quarters or triangles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic powder to the cream cheese mixture.
  • These sandwiches are best served immediately but can be refrigerated for a short time.
