Description

A sweet and creamy Christmas Fudge recipe perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cream, cocoa powder, and butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the mixture comes to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chocolate chips until smooth.
  4. Add nuts if desired, then pour the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch pan.
  5. Allow to cool at room temperature until firm, then cut into squares.
