A zesty and flavorful chili lime flank steak that’s perfect for grilling.
Ingredients

- 1.5 pounds flank steak
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, chili powder, honey, garlic, cumin, salt, black pepper, and olive oil.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over the steak. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Preheat the grill over medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the steak for 6-8 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches desired doneness.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve topped with chopped cilantro.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add some diced jalapeños to the marinade.
- This dish pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
