- 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add the heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes before serving.
