Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through.
- Stir in the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Heat corn tortillas in a pan until they are pliable.
- Place a spoonful of beef mixture and some cheese on each tortilla, then roll tightly.
- Fry the rolled taquitos in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
Notes
- Make sure the tortillas are heated before rolling to prevent tearing.
- These taquitos can be frozen before frying for a quick meal later.
