Description

Delicious and crispy beef taquitos filled with seasoned beef and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through.
  2. Stir in the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Heat corn tortillas in a pan until they are pliable.
  4. Place a spoonful of beef mixture and some cheese on each tortilla, then roll tightly.
  5. Fry the rolled taquitos in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.

Notes

  • Make sure the tortillas are heated before rolling to prevent tearing.
  • These taquitos can be frozen before frying for a quick meal later.
