- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water and olive oil, mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, prepare the apple filling by mixing diced apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- After the dough has risen, spread it into a greased baking dish.
- Top the dough with the apple mixture and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly, then drizzle with a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
